£42 million in cuts could have a big impact on local football Policing ,which looks to compromise the size of police operating at football events.
Recently the Nottinghamshire Police authority voted to scrap the mounted Police unit which was present at Nottingham Forest and Notts County matches. This had seven horses and staff,and is deemed to save the force around £93,000.
Nottingham Police have to make around £42 million cutbacks in four years.
